Chrome extension

Use the Clarify Chrome extension to add records quickly.

Much of the work revenue operators do is trapped in other tools, systems and communities, like LinkedIn. The Clarify Chrome extension aims to accompany every operator on their journey across tools, helping capture context and bring it into the CRM so that we can automate your work.

Today, the Chrome extension works primarily on LinkedIn and allows you to add or update people records, move people into lists, and grab important fields quickly, like email address. It's designed to help make prospecting and sourcing easy.

Downloading the Chrome extension

To download the extension, simply go to our Chrome Web Store page and click Add to Chrome.

Using the extension

First, to access the extension, simply click on the Clarify logo in the top toolbar for Chrome.

The very first time you open the Clarify extension you'll be prompted to login and redirected to Clarify in order to do so. Thereafter, we'll store your credentials and you won't need to login unless you've been logged out of Clarify for more than 30 days.

Once you're logged in, using Clarify's Chrome extension on LinkedIn is designed to save you time and make it effortless to pull data from LinkedIn into Clarify.

When you open the page on a LinkedIn profile, first you'll see important metadata about the user, including their email address if we were able to scrape it. This allows you to quickly email users from LinkedIn if you want.

Next, you'll see an option to "Add to Clarify" if the record doesn't exist. Below it you'll need to specify a list which you will add the user to. We often recommend that customers create a dedicated list for the people they are adding from LinkedIn, making it easy to find and action against these records later.

If the record does exist already inside Clarify, you'll see a "View in Clarify" button that will open the record automatically for you.

If a record exists in Clarify, you'll see a "View in Clarify" button along with other important fields from the record. You can click and open the record right from the Chrome extension.
