Deals

Deals track sales opportunities across people and companies.

Deals have fields for their name, company, amount, stage, and expected close date. They also automatically show you the next open Task associated with the deal.

You can add custom fields to people for data particular to your business.

Automatic creation

Deal Intelligence identifies opportunities in emails and call recordings, then suggests creating deals automatically.

Manual creation

To add a deal manually, the company and/or person must already exist in Clarify. Once they do, you can add all necessary deal data and click "Add."

You can create deals manually in several ways:

  • Click the "Add Deal" button on deal list pages
  • Use the plus button in the top-left navigation
  • Press Cmd+K and select "Add Deal"

Deal stages

Clarify includes default deal stages, but you can customize them to match your sales process. To customize stages:

  1. Navigate to the Deal records page
  2. Click "Fields"
  3. Select "Stage"
  4. Click "Edit Stage"

You can customize the naming convention, order, and color coding for each stage.

Create saved lists of deals using fields and filters. Star lists you use frequently to keep them in your favorites section for easy access.

Deal views

View your deals in two formats:

  • List view - See deals in a traditional table format
  • Board view - Visualize your pipeline by stage

Both views let you click through to individual deals for additional details.

Overview, activity, emails and meetings

The deal record provides a detailed view of each opportunity:

Overview tab

  • AI-generated deal summary with insights from calls, meetings, and emails
  • Automatically created tasks for next steps and deliverables
  • Complete history of emails with people associated with the deal
  • Real-time activity feed of all interactions

Details tab

  • Important deal-specific information
  • Custom fields to track data specific to your sales process

People and lists tab

  • All people associated with the deal
  • Lists where this deal appears
