Clarify keeps you informed about important activity through notifications. You'll receive notifications in three ways: inside the app, email, and Slack.

Types of notifications

Clarify keeps you informed through three types of notifications:

  • In-app notifications - Visible inside Clarify
  • Email notifications - Delivered to your inbox
  • Slack notifications - Sent to your connected Slack workspace

When you’ll receive a notification

You'll get notified when:

  • Someone @mentions you in a comment or update
  • There's activity on records you're subscribed to (like comments or status changes)
  • Clarify takes action on your behalf, such as:
    • Assigning you a task
    • Making a deal suggestion

How subscriptions work

You become subscribed to a record in two ways:

  • Manually - Click "Subscribe" on any record
  • Automatically - Comment on a record to automatically subscribe

When you're subscribed to a record, you'll receive notifications about all activity on that record.

Managing your notification preferences

You can customize how you receive notifications by navigating to Notification settings under Account settings

  • Email notifications - Enable or disable across all activity
  • In-app notifications - Enable or disable across all activity

Slack notifications cannot be turned off individually at this time. We're working on more granular controls for future releases.
