Library is where your reports and dashboards live, powered by live data from your workspace. Ask Rep for the numbers you want, it builds them from your live CRM data, and they are there when you come back tomorrow.
Each item in Library is an artifact. Most of the time you will call it what it actually is: a pipeline dashboard, a win-rate report, a QBR deck.
What you can build
Reporting is what artifacts do best. A few things teams ask Rep for:
Pipeline dashboard by stage, owner, or segment
Win rate broken out by source, deal size, or rep
Activity report covering meetings, emails, and calls
Customer health snapshots
A QBR deck you can walk a room through
Rep builds both dynamic dashboards, where the data refreshes automatically whenever someone views it, and static artifacts based on any data you have in Clarify.
Ask Rep to build it
There is no blank canvas and no chart builder. You describe what you want, Rep writes it.
Open Rep from anywhere in Clarify.
Describe what you are looking for in plain language, or ask it to guide you. Be as vague or as specific as you like. Try "Build me a pipeline health dashboard" or "Create a report showing win rate broken down by owner over time".
Rep names the artifact, builds it, and saves it to your library.
If it needs any adjustments, ask Rep to make them.
Finding your artifacts
Click Library in the sidebar. Three lists come set up for you:
đ My Library: what you have created
đ All Artifacts: everything in the workspace
đ Dashboards: the interactive ones running on live data
Sort, filter, and group each one like any other list in Clarify, with columns for the name, description, type, and who created or last updated it. Star an artifact to keep it in your favorites.
All artifacts are shared at the workspace level. Every member of a workspace can edit and delete all the artifacts.
Fixing and adjusting with Rep
You never edit an artifact by hand, and you do not need to start a new one when something is off. Rep does the fixing.
Something looks wrong. Ask Rep how it calculated a metric, or point it at what is not correct. Or click Something off? in the top right, then Fix it with Rep. Rep reads the current artifact, patches it, and saves a new version.
You want a change, not a fix. Ask in chat: "Group this by owner instead", "add a weighted column", "cut it to closed won only". Same idea, new version.
It will not load. Use Try again in case of a one-off network issue. When the artifact itself has a bug, Fix with Rep appears and hands the problem straight to Rep.
Clarify is constantly updating the artifacts system, and some changes propagate to existing artifacts automatically. Others need a nudge: each time Rep updates an artifact, it uses the latest code and guidance for your new version.
Working with a dashboard
Dashboards give you dynamic insights into your data. Each one is built uniquely by Rep, but a few things you may see in yours:
When you are viewing data over time, Rep should provide a date range picker at the top. Adjust the time range to see the dashboard update.
Narrow any filters in the filter bar. Not seeing any? Ask Rep to add them.
Your dashboard shows fresh data whenever you view it, unless it is labeled otherwise. You can also refresh one metric at a time from a block's menu, or the whole dashboard from the top right.
Drill into any metric with See underlying data to get the rows behind the total, right down to the individual Deal.
Version history
Every save is kept, so a change you do not like is never permanent.
Open the artifact, then pick Version history from the overflow menu. You will see who saved what, when, and a short note on what changed where there is one. The live one is tagged Current.
Preview a version by clicking its row. A banner appears at the top reading Previewing another version, with Exit preview and Restore. The version you are on is tagged Previewing.
Restore it from that banner and it goes live right away, with no confirmation step. Restoring from the row's menu asks first: "Restore this version? This becomes the version everyone in the workspace sees."
Duplicate a version from the row menu to branch off it without touching the live artifact.
The preview link is shareable within your workspace. The URL pins the exact version you are looking at, so a teammate who opens it sees the same version. The URL for the current version always shows the current version, even if updates are made later.
What you see and what your teammates see
Viewing a dynamic artifact queries with the same data access that you have. If you cannot see a record in Clarify, it is not reflected in the metrics. A teammate with wider access opens the same artifact and could see a different result. Be aware of this when discussing important metrics with your team. Clarify encourages workspaces to have an open data model to minimize inconsistencies per viewer.
Artifacts automatically add a banner at the top when there is potential for data discrepancies between viewers.
Current limitations
Artifacts are built and edited by Rep. There is no manual editor.
There is no scheduled delivery and no emailed digest. Open an artifact to get fresh numbers.
No public links and no embedding outside Clarify. Links work for teammates in your workspace only.
There are no per-artifact access controls yet, so any workspace member can edit or delete any artifact. Removing one deletes it and every saved version permanently, and Rep asks you to confirm first. Access controls that limit who can view, edit, and delete individual artifacts are planned.
Getting access
Artifacts are currently in beta and rolling out workspace by workspace. If Library is in your sidebar, your workspace has it. If you land on a page describing the feature with a Join the waitlist button instead, your workspace is not enabled yet, so click it to register your interest.
FAQ
Do I have to build one myself?
No. Describe it to Rep and Rep builds it. There is no chart builder to learn.
Can I edit the artifact by hand?
Not today. Everything goes through Rep. Say what you want changed and it saves a new version.
What data can Rep pull from?
Your live Clarify data: Deals, People, Companies, activity, custom objects, and custom fields. It queries the real thing when the artifact opens, so nothing is stale.
Why do my numbers differ from a teammate's?
Record access. An artifact only counts records you can see. See "What you see and what your teammates see" above.
Rep used the wrong definition for a metric. How do I correct it?
Tell it the right one. "Win rate should exclude deals that are still open." Rep patches the artifact and saves a new version. Rep also asks up front when a definition is ambiguous, so answering that question saves you the correction.
Can I undo a change Rep made?
Yes. Open Version history, preview the version you want, and click Restore.
Who in my workspace can see an artifact I asked for, and what is the difference between My Library and All Artifacts?
Artifacts are workspace-wide, so teammates find yours in All Artifacts. My Library is a filtered view of the same set showing only the ones you created. What each person sees inside an artifact still depends on their own record access.
Does the data refresh on its own?
A dynamic artifact queries live data when you open it. Inside it, refresh a single metric from its Refresh data menu item. There is no scheduled refresh and no emailed digest.
When should I use an artifact instead of a list?
A list is for browsing and working records: filter, sort, edit in place. An artifact is for the shape of the numbers: totals, trends, and comparisons, with a drilldown when you want the rows behind them.
Can I share an artifact outside Clarify?
Not yet. Links work for teammates in your workspace. No public links, no embeds.
What happens when I remove one?
It is gone, along with every saved version. Rep confirms before it does it, and its card in past chats shows a Deleted badge.
Can I change the date range or filters without asking Rep?
Yes. Date range, filters, sorting, and per-metric refresh are all yours to drive. Ask Rep when you want to change what the artifact measures, not how you are slicing it.
The artifact will not load. What do I do?
Click Try again first. If Fix with Rep appears next to it, the artifact has a bug: click it and Rep patches the source. Still stuck? Use Something off? then Send feedback.
