Clarify's Slack integration keeps your revenue team instantly connected to CRM activity, enabling real-time collaboration on deals and opportunities.

Notifications

  • Record comments

    • Anyone subscribed to a record will receive a notification

    • You're considered subscribed if you modify, comment, or manually subscribe to a record

  • User mentions

    • If you're @mentioned on any record, you will get a notification

  • Record updates

    • Any changes to a record you're subscribed to will trigger a Slack notification

  • Deal owner update

    • New deal owners will receive a notification when they are assigned as the owner

    • Original owners will be notified that the deal ownership has changed

When sharing records in Slack, a preview will be displayed:

  • All records: Title

  • Meetings: Title + Event date

  • Deals: Title + Stage + Amount + Close date

  • People + Companies: Description + Job title

  • You'll receive a confirmation notification


Installation

To get the Slack integration working with Clarify, each user needs to complete the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the Connected accounts in Clarify's Settings

  2. Click Configure on the Slack integration card

  3. Complete the OAuth authorization flow

Note: Each individual user will need to configure their own Slack connection separately.


Troubleshooting

Disconnect and reconnect the integration

If you encounter issues with your Slack integration:

  1. Navigate to the integrations page

  2. Disconnect your Slack integration

  3. Reconnect by following the OAuth flow again
