Clarify fills in details about your people and companies for you - job titles, company size, location, logos, and more - so you don't have to research and type them in. Enrichment runs automatically in the background, and it doesn't use your credits.
How enrichment runs
Enrichment runs automatically when a record is created or updated with enough information to match on. You don't need to trigger it.
What a record needs
People - an email address or a LinkedIn handle.
Companies - a domain name.
Without one of these, there's nothing for Clarify to match on and the record won't enrich. Adding the missing detail later triggers enrichment automatically.
Re-request enrichment manually
To re-run enrichment on a person or company record that already has data, select one or more records, open the ⋯ menu, and choose Re-request enrichment - also available by right-clicking a board card, or from the bulk-select menu in a list. Each re-request uses one enrichment from your monthly allowance.
You can also ask Rep to do it - for example, "Reenrich this record" (tell it which record if it asks). Rep queues the same re-enrichment and it draws one enrichment from your allowance.
ℹ️ On the Free plan, and on paid plans once the monthly enrichment allowance is used up, the Re-request enrichment option doesn't appear.
Data sources by plan
Free - one data source.
Paid plans - multiple sources, checked in turn to fill in the most complete data.
Enrichment allowance
On paid plans, enrichment draws on a monthly allowance that is separate from your credits. It costs 0 credits - so a healthy credit balance doesn't affect it, and enabling on-demand credits doesn't extend it.
The allowance resets at the start of each billing period. On annual plans, that's once a year, not monthly.
See Billing, pricing and payments for your plan's allowance and how it resets. On the Free plan, enrichment uses a single source and has no separate allowance.
Enrichable fields
Clarify attempts to enrich the following fields. Coverage varies by record - not every field will have data for every person or company.

Email address | Description |
Job title | Address |

Logos and profile pictures
Company logos and person profile pictures come from enrichment - there's no manual upload. A company's logo is pulled from its domain; a person's photo comes from their enriched profile.
To get logos on your companies, make sure each record has a domain. Enrichment does the rest.
Missing domains? Add them in bulk with a CSV import - map a Domain column and check Unique → Name to update your existing companies instead of creating duplicates.
Coverage varies by record. Enrichment adds a logo where one is available, so some companies won't have one even with a domain set.
Logos and profile pictures can't be uploaded or replaced manually.
Fixing incorrect data
Enriched values are regular fields. To correct one, click it in the record's Details panel and type the right value - or ask Rep to update it for you.
If the data looks stale rather than wrong (for example, an old job title or headcount), Re-request enrichment instead - from the record's ⋯ menu, or by asking Rep - to pull a fresh lookup.
Troubleshooting
A record didn't enrich
Check that the record has what enrichment needs - an email or LinkedIn handle for a person, a domain for a company. Add the missing detail and enrichment runs automatically.
Enrichment stopped on a paid plan
You've likely used up this period's enrichment allowance. Because the allowance is separate from credits, your credit balance can look healthy while enrichment is paused, and the Re-request enrichment option disappears. The allowance resets at the start of your next billing period. If you need more before then, reply to support.
A field is blank
Enrichment coverage isn't complete - not every field is available for every record, and some records won't have a match at all. Blank fields aren't an error.
