Intro to sending email
To use this feature, connect a Google or Microsoft account in Settings → Email & Calendar. If no account is connected, the email compose button won't appear.
Each user sends from one connected email account. Sending from multiple accounts or domains isn't currently supported — it's a frequently requested feature we're actively tracking.
How it works
Person pages: The primary email address automatically populates the "To" field.
Meeting, Company, and Deal pages: All associated email addresses are added to the "To" field.
Quick access
Press "C" on any supported page to open the email compose window.
Sending from an alias
If your connected account has aliases configured, you can send from any of those aliases in Clarify.
Choosing an alias: When composing a new email, click the From field to select which alias to send from. Your primary address is selected by default.
Replying to threads: When you reply to a thread, Clarify checks whether you previously sent from an alias in that thread and auto-selects it — keeping your reply address consistent without manual switching.
Requirements:
Aliases must be configured in your Google or Microsoft account before they appear in Clarify
There is no separate alias setup in Clarify — it reads available aliases directly from your connected account
Using email signatures
Users can set rich text email signatures that will be automatically applied to all new email compositions.
To set a signature, navigate to Settings → Account → Preferences.
After saving a signature, it will be applied automatically to all new emails you compose, as well as campaign emails.
Running email campaigns
To send multi-step outbound sequences to a list of recipients, use Campaigns. Campaigns support scheduled sending, NeverBounce pre-send validation, CC/BCC, and step-by-step analytics.
Blocked email handling
The system automatically blocks email addresses after detecting that an email sent from Clarify has bounced. This prevents future email delivery attempts to that specific address.
Only the specific bounced email address is blocked, not the entire person record
If a person has multiple email addresses, you can still send emails to their other addresses
You can unblock email addresses directly from the person record page. Access this option under the three dots in the upper right-hand corner of the record page.
ℹ️ important: Only unblock emails that you are confident are valid, working email addresses that may have been blocked inadvertently. Repeatedly sending to invalid or blocked emails can result in damage to your email sending domain's reputation.
