Logging in and account basics

How to sign up, log in, switch workspaces, manage your account settings, and troubleshoot access issues in Clarify.

Written by Michael Simmons

Clarify signs you in with the Google or Microsoft account you already use for work, so your access follows your company account. If you belong to more than one workspace, switch between them from your avatar menu at any time - see Switch workspaces.

Go to app.clarify.ai and select Sign up. Sign up with Google or Microsoft.

If your company already has a Clarify workspace with domain-restricted sign-up enabled, signing up with your work email adds you to that workspace instead of creating a new one.

Go to app.clarify.ai and choose your sign-in method. Clarify supports Google and Microsoft.

If you belong to more than one workspace, Clarify shows a Choose a workspace screen after you sign in. Pick the workspace you want to open.

Once you're in, meet Rep. The box at the top of your Home page is Rep, Clarify's AI assistant. Ask it questions about your customers and deals, or press / from anywhere in Clarify to open it.

Single sign-on (SSO)

Single sign-on (SSO) is set up with our team. Once it's on for your company, choose Continue with SSO on the sign-in page and enter your work email. If your company wants to use SSO, contact support at [email protected].

Switch workspaces

If you're a member of more than one Clarify workspace, click your avatar in the bottom-left of the sidebar, then click the Workspace row under your name to see all your workspaces and switch.

Create another workspace: click your avatar in the bottom-left of the sidebar, click the Workspace row, then choose New workspace. Enter a Workspace name and click Continue. The new workspace starts empty - invite your teammates and connect your email and calendar inside it. The person who creates a workspace is its admin (see Manage members).

Each workspace has its own connected accounts, data, and settings. Joining a workspace does not connect your email and calendar there automatically - you connect them separately in each workspace you want them to sync into.

Heads up: On Free and Starter plans each person can connect one email account; higher plans allow more than one, and each syncs its own email and calendar. A connected account can sync into every workspace you belong to, and connecting it in a second workspace does not disconnect it from the first.

Log out

Click your avatar in the bottom-left of the sidebar and select Log out.

Manage your account settings

Your personal settings live under Settings → Account:

  • Preferences - your profile, theme, time zone, scheduling link and email signature

  • Email and meetings - your personal recording preferences

  • Notifications - your notification settings

  • Desktop app - desktop shortcuts and options (shown only in the desktop app)

To connect or disconnect your email and calendar, open Connectors from the left sidebar. Under Personal, click your Google or Microsoft tile (the provider your email is connected with).

Troubleshooting access issues

Can't log in?

  • Use the same sign-in method you used when you signed up (Google or Microsoft)

  • If using Google, make sure you're selecting the correct Google account

  • If using Microsoft, make sure you're selecting the correct Microsoft account

  • Signing up with Google for the first time? Leave the calendar permission checked on Google's consent screen. Clarify needs calendar access, and if it's unchecked you'll see Connect your calendar to continue. Sign in again and allow calendar access.

  • If your organization requires admin approval to connect Microsoft 365, see Connecting Microsoft 365 - admin consent troubleshooting

  • If Google blocks the sign-in with an Advanced Protection message, see Google sign-in blocked - Advanced Protection and admin app access

  • Clear your browser cache and try again, or try a different browser

Got invited but the link isn't working?
Invitation links expire after 7 days. Ask your workspace admin to resend the invite from Settings → Workspace → Members.

Accepted an invite but your contacts or leads haven't appeared?
Your email and calendar may not be connected in that workspace yet - joining a workspace does not connect them automatically. Open Connectors from the left sidebar and check your Google or Microsoft tile under Personal. The first sync runs in the background - a syncing card at the bottom of the left sidebar shows its progress. If the tile already shows as connected but nothing is syncing in that workspace, contact support at [email protected].

Account locked or suspended?
Contact support at [email protected] with your email address and workspace name.

FAQ

Can I be in more than one workspace?
Yes. Join one from an invite, or create your own from the Workspace row in your avatar menu (see Switch workspaces). Each workspace keeps its own connected accounts, data and settings. Joining a workspace does not connect your email and calendar there automatically - connect them inside that workspace. If your account already shows as connected in a workspace but nothing is syncing there, contact support at [email protected].

Can I change the email address on my account?
If your work email was renamed by your IT admin - a domain change or a rebrand - your Clarify sign-in follows it automatically the next time you log in. You don't need to ask us, and you keep signing in the same way. If your whole company is moving to the new domain, see Manage members before teammates sign up with it.

Your email and calendar connection does not follow automatically. If yours stops syncing after the change, see Email and calendar sync troubleshooting.

To move your account to a different address that isn't tied to your sign-in, or if you've lost access to the old one, contact support at [email protected].

How do I remove myself from a workspace?
Workspace admins can leave from Settings → Workspace → Members by clicking the remove icon next to their own name. If you're the only admin, assign another admin first. Members cannot remove themselves - ask an admin to do it.

How do I delete my workspace?
A workspace admin deletes the workspace from Settings → Workspace → Billing: scroll to Delete workspace and click Delete workspace. This deletes the workspace and all of its data and can't be undone. See Delete your workspace or remove users.

Is there a mobile app?
Not currently. Clarify is available as a web app at app.clarify.ai and as a desktop app for Mac and Windows.
