A pipeline is only useful if it's current and you can see what's real. Clarify keeps your deals up to date on its own and gives you the views to work and measure them. This playbook covers organizing your pipeline, keeping it current, and measuring it.
Set up your deals and stages
Deals track opportunities and link to the people and companies involved. Customize your stages - the defaults are Lead, In progress, Won, and Lost - from the deal list's Fields → Stage to match your process. Work the pipeline in Board view (organized by stage) or List view (a sortable table).
To run more than one pipeline - by region, product line, or deal type - add a single-select field for the pipeline, create a saved list per value, and switch each to Board view. On each board, Show or hide columns hides the stages that don't apply, so every list works as its own pipeline with its own stages. A label won't work for this: a board can only group by a single-select field.
Let Clarify keep it current
Updating deals by hand is where pipelines go stale. Deal intelligence does it for you:
Deal summaries - written and kept current automatically from meetings, emails, and comments.
Deal suggestions - Clarify spots opportunities in your activity and suggests new deals to track.
Field update suggestions - after calls and emails, Clarify proposes deal-field updates so changes don't get missed.

Ask about your pipeline
Ask Rep in plain language - "show deals closing this quarter over $50k," "which deals slipped from Q1," "open deals with no activity in the last 14 days." Rep filters and surfaces the deals, and can pull them into a list you can work from.
Measure it
Ask Rep for pipeline metrics - for example, "what's my win rate this quarter?", "show pipeline value by stage," or "how much did we close last month?" Rep queries your CRM and can chart the result. To keep a metric rather than re-asking for it, save it to Library, where it reruns on live data each time you open it. For custom analysis in your own BI tool, Warehouse access (Growth and above) syncs Clarify data into Metabase, Hex, or Tableau.
Automate pipeline hygiene
Hand recurring pipeline work to an agent - move a deal to the next stage when a transcript signals it, post a Friday pipeline digest to Slack, or flag deals that have gone quiet.
Good to know
Deal names must be unique in a workspace - add a year or contact to a repeat deal, like "Demandbase - 2026." Both deals still link to the same company.
Deal suggestions only trigger for companies with no existing deals; add further opportunities manually.
