Clarify is a CRM that automatically populates itself from your email, calendar, and meetings. Connect your accounts, and Clarify automatically creates contact records, tracks deal activity, and summarises your meetings — without manual data entry.
If you've used Salesforce or HubSpot before, the core difference is this: those tools record what you tell them. Clarify figures it out from your emails and meetings and keeps itself up to date.
How Clarify works
Clarify captures data from three sources:
Source | What it captures |
Contact records, relationship history, communication frequency, company associations
Calendar | Meeting participants, upcoming calls, deal linkages, pre-meeting context |
Meeting recordings | Summaries, action items, deal signals, speaker transcripts |
Connect your accounts once. Clarify does the rest automatically.
What Clarify builds from that data
Feature | What it does |
Contacts & companies | Created from your email history, enriched with publicly available information |
Deal detection | Identifies buying signals in emails and meetings, surfaces them as deals |
Meeting summaries | Generated after every recorded call — key topics, action items, deal signals |
AI field suggestions | Suggests updates to deal and contact fields based on your conversations |
Daily briefing | Home page summary of what needs your attention: meetings, activity, tasks, insights |
AI suggestions are suggestions. Clarify never auto-updates your records. Every AI field suggestion shows up for you to accept or reject — you stay in control.

Meet Rep — your AI assistant
Rep is docked in the left sidebar and available on every page in Clarify. Ask it anything about your pipeline, contacts, or meetings:
"What do I need to know before my call with Acme today?"
"Which deals haven't had activity in 2 weeks?"
"Draft a follow-up email from this morning's meeting."
Rep reads your full history — emails, meetings, transcripts, and deal context. Open it from the sidebar or press / or Cmd/Ctrl + J.
What to expect in your first week
Days 1–2: After connecting your accounts, Clarify runs an initial sync (10–30 minutes). Contacts and companies start appearing, built from your email history.
Days 2–4: Your first recorded meeting generates a summary. Clarify starts surfacing AI field suggestions based on what it learns from your conversations.
Days 4–7: Your pipeline takes shape. Deals appear, contacts are linked to the right companies, and your home page briefing reflects your actual workday.
How Clarify is different from other CRMs
Clarify | Salesforce / HubSpot
Data entry | Automatic from email, calendar, meetings | Manual — you log what you want tracked |
Meeting notes | AI-generated summaries after every call | Manual notes or separate tools |
CRM updates | AI suggests updates; you approve | You update fields yourself |
Setup time | Minutes (connect accounts) | Significant setup and configuration |
FAQ
Does Clarify read the content of my emails?
Clarify downloads your email content to build contact records, track communication history, and power features like deal detection and AI suggestions. Your email content is only visible to you by default — teammates cannot see your emails unless a workspace admin enables broader visibility.
Will my team see my meetings and emails?
Recorded meetings are not visible to teammates by default — only participants can see them. A workspace admin can enable broader meeting visibility if your team wants shared access. Emails are also restricted to participants only unless a workspace admin enables broader access. You can adjust recording preferences and visibility in Settings.
I just connected — why don't I see any data yet?
The initial sync takes 10–30 minutes depending on your inbox size. Check Settings > Account > Connected accounts for a progress bar. If it's been over an hour, try disconnecting and reconnecting.
Does Clarify replace my existing CRM?
It can. Clarify is a full CRM — contacts, companies, deals, pipeline, reporting. Many teams migrate from Salesforce or HubSpot. You can also run Clarify alongside your existing CRM via the HubSpot integration or Zapier.
What are credits?
Credits are used for AI features like AI Fields autofill (3–30 credits per record) and Lead Finder imports. Background enrichment — auto-populating company and contact data — is free. Check your balance at Settings > Workspace > Billing.
What is Lead Finder?
Lead Finder lets you search Clarify's built-in prospect database and import contacts directly into your CRM — no third-party tool needed. Search by role, company size, industry, or location, then import matches as Clarify records. Each imported contact uses credits. Available on all plans.
Can my whole team use it?
Yes. Each person connects their own email and calendar. Clarify gives your team shared visibility into deals and relationships. Invite teammates from Settings > Workspace > Manage members.
